Our Mission Statement

The purpose of Living Word Church is to share the love of God with our community, the surrounding area and the entire world. Whether you have never received Jesus into your life, you are hurting and see no hope, or you feel that church is no longer relevant in your life, we want you to know that God has a plan for you. He loves you, desires to know you and wants to see you succeed.

(Jer. 29:11)

Our Doctrinal Statement

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. The Holy Spirit moved on men of God who wrote and recorded His Word. The New Testament is our guide for the modern day Church in all matters. (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thes. 2:1,3; 2 Peter 1:21).

Trinity

We believe in the triune nature of God. One God manifested in three persons. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (John 1:1,14; John 14:16; John 15:26; Genesis 1:27; Rom. 3:10,23)

Man's Fall / Redemption

We believe man is born with a nature of sin due to the fall of Adam, the first man. Man has need of redemption because of sin. God has provided redemption and reconciliation through the person of Jesus. (Rom 5:14; 1 John 3:8)

Salvation

Man can be saved by the grace of God and our belief in Jesus as the risen savior. Confessing Jesus as our Lord and believing in our heart that He is the Son of God who died and rose again enables us to receive salvation. (Eph. 2:8-10; Rom. 6:23; John 3:16).

Healing

We believe healing was made available by the atoning work of Jesus. Healing is the will of God and can be obtained by the believer through faith in God and His Word. God also heals through spiritual gifts, prayer of the saints as well as through what we consider natural means, i.e. Doctors and medicine. (Ex. 15:26; Is. 543:4-5; Mat. 8:16-17)

Hell

We believe hell is a real place and those who die in sin without receiving Jesus will spend eternity there with no hope or chance for repentance.
